Social Service Centers
There are 15 Social Service Centre, out of which 3 are located in Chhattisgarh. These Social Service Centers are working towards addressing social issues related to women empowerment, domestic workers, health and hygiene, PLHIV, maternal, reproductive, MHM, community, gender, equality, social justice, education, literacy, local self-governance, Panchayat, child health and nutrition. These social centers have also been working on Capacity building of CBO members, leaders of SHGs, Federations, Village Development Committees, and Farmers clubs. They also make advocacy for basic human rights like food, shelter, health and education.
Natural Resources plays a vital role to address malnutrition and food security issues in order to avail holistic health. Our Social Service Centers are working towards Integrated natural resource and management (INRM) which is process of managing natural resources in systematic way. They also promote livelihood and skill development, sustainable agriculture, climate change, tribal development, local food & crop in order to ensure food sovereignty at every sphere.
Apart from this, in order to strengthen the role and participation of children in social development ,our Social Service Centers works on child rights and build a safe environment for children to ensure child protection.
SSS has been working on mainstreaming the physical challenge persons especially children by providing them financial support and raise their voice for their rights.
These Social Service Centers are conducting different awareness activities, income generation, sponsorship, emergency relief work and vocational and skill training for adolescents, youth and women in rural as well as urban area.
We believe in community-based approach and works for the integral development of the underprivileged and marginalized peoples in order to provide their rights with dignified life. Our strengthen lies in our oneness and collaboration which support us to achieve our goals and sustainable development at each domain.
