Our Objectives

  • To educate and enlighten people irrespective of cast and creed about health in the holistic sense.
  • To make people aware of the conditions and situations that affect health.
  • To enable people (communities) to take step to improve their health.
  • To facilitate organised action by the people to have other basic needs – shelter, education- adequately fulfilled.
  • To improve and promote the health of the people and the standards of hospitals, health centres, and dispensaries and health care services in MP & CG, focusing on the poor and marginalized, especially women and children.
  • To promote, realise and safeguard progressively higher ideas and values in spiritual, moral, ethical, medical, nursing, educational, social and all other phases of health endeavour and pastoral care of the allied health professionals.
  • To establish, promote, carry on, administer, run, undertake and manage programmes for community health and family welfare through holistic and comprehensive approach to health and healing.
  • To establish, promote, run, carry on, administer, manage and undertake the education and training of health professionals and workers at all levels in all branches of medicine and health care.
  • To establish, promote, manage, administer, carry on, and assist subsidiary organizations, units, training institutes, disaster management cells or teams and programmes under the Association to promote holistic and comprehensive health care.
  • To assist voluntary health organizations and health care institutions in procuring quality amenities/ equipment/ vehicles/ medicines.
  • To network and collaborate with other organizations and government at local, state, national and international levels in the field of health.
  • To focus on and integrate environmental/ ecological/ moral/ ethical issues as they relate to health.
  • In solidarity with the poor, oppressed and marginalized, to promote the empowerment of people in their struggle to procure and safeguard their rights in the field of health especially through capacity building.
  • To undertake such other activities as are conducive to promote health and health care services in a holistic and comprehensive manner.
